Customize Settings
Configure your guestbook display and moderation settings.
Sign in via admin login to access your admin dashboard, where you can manage comments and settings.
Configure Moderation Settings
Under the settings panel, you can:
Under comment length, set the maximum number of characters allowed in a comment body.
Under rate limits, set the maximum number of comments that can be submitted per time period up to a total per day.
Under profanity allow-list, enter a comma-separated list of words that are allowed to be submitted within comments.
Configure Display Settings
Under the settings panel, you can configure the:
Enter a title override for your guestbook. This will display in the header of your guestbook and on the webpage title.
Enter placeholder text for the comment input field. This will display when the input field is empty.
To control marquee behaviour for the title, select:
- on to display the title in a retro scrolling marquee effect.
- off to display the title static.
- Select a main font and accent font for your guestbook.
- Each font has its own font size setting:
smaller,regular,larger
Under commments per page, select the number of comments to display on your guestbook submission page.
You can display from 4 up to 10 comments. Comments past that amount will be paginated.
Under capture email, select:
- on to show the email address field when a comment is submitted.
- off to disable the email address field when a comment is submitted.
Customize Guestbook Theme
Under the settings panel, you can override the default theme with your custom CSS.
Under custom theme, click view example for a sample CSS file with colour and font elements you can safely override without breaking your guestbook layout.
Enter your custom CSS into custom theme to override theme defaults.
